Off all the first series of Pokemon whether it’s Pokemon Red, Blue, or Green (Japan) the Pokemon Yellow is the most unique of all the first release. Pokemon Yellow follows the storyline of Ash getting up late for his first Pokemon and because of that Proffesor Oak has no more Pokemon to offer Ash for his very first Pokemon, except for one, Pikachu. Yes that’s right, if you’re start playing the game with Pokemon Yellow you won’t be able to choose between Bulbasaur, Squirtle, or Charmander but only Pikachu. This will definitely save your time if you really want to use the super-cute Pikachu.

Other than Pikachu as a starting Pokemon for you, there’s only little difference between other versions. Some of that difference is the spawn area of Pokemon. The cartridge of the game comes in yellow and it would be a nice collection if you put it side-by-side with the red, blue, and green version that you would end up with red, blue, green, and yellow cartridges for the first series of Pokemon that was release for Gameboy dated back in 1996.
The Pokemon Yellow storyline were following the exact version of the cartoon series of Pokemon aired by TV stations all over the world. Some features were also added in this version such as the Pikachu mood. Pikachu’s mood can be displayed virtual pet style: keeping him happy is important, as his mood affects certain events in the game.
